Moncton, New Brunswick (NB) – September 24, 2024 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) announces an additional allocation of 300 t for the Group B (Prince Edward Island harvesters) of Herring Fishing Areas 16C and 16E. The additional allocation is deducted from allocation for Group A (New-Brunswick harvesters) within the same Herring Fishing Areas 16C and 16E. This additional allocation is in effect for the 2024 fishing season only.
