Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (PE) – June 16, 2023 – The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Gulf Region is announcing a change to the opening date, for the rock crab fishery in Lobster Fishing Area (LFA 24) in 2023.
Fishing Season:
The season in LFA 24 will open at 6:00 a.m. on July 8, 2023 and will remain open until October 29, 2023.
All other management measures will stay the same.
