Gulf Region
The Gulf Region includes the waters of the Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence at the eastern coast of New Brunswick, the Northumberland Strait coast of Nova Scotia and Western Cape Breton Island, as well as Prince Edward Island. The Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence covers an area of 240 000 km2 and borders 7, 000 km of coastline.
Area offices are located in Tracadie, N.B., Antigonish, N.S., and Charlottetown, P.E.I. The regional headquarters are in Moncton, N.B.
Come and have your boat washed for free
From May 22 to 25, come see us at the Miramichi Civic Centre in N.B. to have your boat washed for free. We'll also demonstrate how to properly remove aquatic invasive species from your boat, paddles or paddle board. Can't make it? See the link to find out how.
Heading out on the water?
Stay at least 100m away from whales, dolphins and porpoises. If they are resting or with their young, remain at least 200m away.
