Questionnaire on Atlantic salmon and striped bass recreational fisheries in the Gulf Region

We are looking for your feedback on the recreational Atlantic salmon fishery and the recreational striped bass fishery in the Gulf Region. The region covers the eastern coast of New Brunswick, the Northumberland Strait coast of Nova Scotia and Western Cape Breton Island, as well as Prince Edward Island.

Input gathered through this process may be used to inform changes to management measures for these two species.

  • Indigenous peoples
  • members of the public

Management measures

The management measures for Atlantic salmon and striped bass recreational fisheries for the Gulf Region are reviewed annually. They include the fishing season start and end dates, as well as the bag and size limits.
