Tracadie, New Brunswick (NB) – Revised on September 15, 2022 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) announces revised Gulf New Brunswick (GNB) Bluefin tuna fleet Conservation and Harvesting Plan (CHP) for the 2022 fishing season.
The final Bluefin tuna allocation for 2022 is 47.378 metric tons (mt). This consists of the revised 2022 Bluefin tuna allocation for the GNB fleet of 42.692 mt, to which is added a transfer of quota from Mexico equal to 4.686 mt.
