Moncton, New Brunswick (NB) – October 5, 2022 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) announces the closure of the fall herring fishery, for Group B (Prince Edward Island) harvesters in Herring Fishing Areas 16C and 16E. The closure will take effect on October 5th at 13:00 Atlantic Daily Time. The quota for Group B has been reached.
